Privacy
Policy
Four Street is built with a strict “privacy-by-design” architecture. The application operates entirely client-side within your browser or progressive web app. We do not operate user accounts or harvest personal data. The only information stored on our servers is feedback you choose to send, anonymous visit counts, and error reports that help keep the app working.
Information We Do Not Collect
Personal identification information. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses unless you type them into the Feedback Machine yourself.
Account credentials. There is no registration, login, or authentication system.
Gameplay and performance telemetry. Your hand selections, accuracy scores, session logs, and leak histories are never sent to Four Street servers or recorded in a persistent remote database.
Local Session Data & Storage
Ephemeral state. Your current hand, score tally, session duration, and settings are held in temporary browser memory.
No persistent local storage. Four Street does not write gameplay history to localStorage or IndexedDB. Refreshing or closing the tab resets the session.
Device Permissions & Clipboard Access
Clipboard access. When you choose “Copy Session Notes,” the application writes that summary to your clipboard. Four Street never reads from your clipboard.
Audio. Audio uses pre-bundled music and browser-generated sounds. The application does not request microphone or recording permission.
Hosting & Network Requests
Four Street is hosted on Netlify. Standard network delivery data, such as request headers, browser information, and an IP address, may be processed by Netlify to deliver the site securely and reliably.
Typography is loaded from Google Fonts. Requests for those font files are subject to Google’s privacy practices.
Feedback, Usage Counts & Error Reports
Feedback Machine. If you send feedback, we store what you enter (any name, email address, message, ratings, and final verdict) along with your country, and forward it privately to the Four Street team. Contact details are optional.
Anonymous usage counts. Each page visit records the page, your country, whether you are on a phone or a computer, and the website that referred you. To count unique visitors without cookies or local storage, the server creates a one-way code from your connection details and a random value that is replaced every day and deleted within three days, so visits cannot be linked across days. Your IP address itself is never stored.
Error reports. If the app crashes in your browser, a short technical error message and the page it happened on are sent so it can be fixed.
Retention. Visit and error records are deleted after 90 days.
Tracking & Advertising
Four Street does not include advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral analytics such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel.

If Four Street’s data practices change, this page is updated to describe the new handling. The effective date above shows when the policy was last revised.
